With the holiday season upon us, the calendar will not be quite as full for the next couple of weeks. But be assured that we have plenty of things planned for January and beyond.
We will still be running our weekly skirmishes with the Riders of Ravencrest on Tuesday nights at 8:30pm EST. We will also be working on kin-only Draigoch runs and continuing to explore the new content.
Several contests are currently running. Bobby Underhill has generously donated a Worn Symbol of Celebrimbor--this contest ends on January 1st, and you do not want to miss out. The "make a wish" lottery will also be going on through the end of the month. Chose your own prize or make a wish for one of your kinmates. The officers are working on making these wishes into reality. The December screenshot contest has a holiday theme this time around. Entries are due by December 21st--please submit your shot even if you don't have the best graphics. Your kinmates will vote on the winning entry.
The Yule Festival begins on December 20th, but we will have our official kin outing on January 7th. We will once again be doing a kin photo in Winterhome, so please don't miss your opportunity to be a part of it. On January 8th we will hold our rescheduled Hrivelinta, the Winter Dance Festival. The Breakfast Club has been hard at work practicing their songs and caroling around Middle-earth, and this will be the newly reformed band's first concert together. Also in January, Daffin will be hosting the first in a series of rally races, this time in the Shire. We will need many volunteers to pull it off, so please contact Dallofin if you're interested in lending a hand.
