BTW Rosalie I think you should submit "Disappointing Bat" as a potential name for a creature in a new zone. Imagine being pursued by a cluster of them.

I'm pleased to announce that Gloredh of Wandering Around Arda and Starry of The Starry Mantle will once again join us as guest judges for our costume contest.  I hope you'll get inspired by their outfits as you think of your own costumes.  And remember that you may enter all three categories.

It's time for our 5th annual Halloween celebration, The Haunted Hill!

Come to the Haunted Hill on Sunday, October 26th at 1pm EDT (server time)/17:00 GMT.  Please note that Europe sets their clocks forward that day, so keep that time change in mind.  We'll meet at the Party Tree and then travel around to the surrounding landmarks.  Take a break from the regular festival events to join us for the following activities:

• The Tortured Orchard Race 


• Grand Costume Contest 


• Group Storytelling Contest 


• Scavenger Hunt around the Haunted Burrow 


• and of course music from our Breakfast Club 

The costume contest will again be judged by some famous Lotro fashion bloggers.  This year's categories: spookiest, most original and best duo or group (mounts count for the duo category).  Everbrock, Daffin and Willowing can tell you more about our other activities.

What tales will be told?  What mysteries will unfold?  Will I find another Halloween emote?  (Well, I can answer that one with a disappointing bat )
