Dear Breakfasters,
As most of you know by now, Crickhollow will live on! Our home is one of the top five servers in population because everywhere I've looked, people have consistently remarked upon how friendly and welcoming we are. Our kinship was formed on the first day the server opened in order to welcome new players, and now that mission will continue with even greater strength and purpose. I am so relieved by this happy news, and I'm sure most of you are too!
Many entire kinships will join us now, and I'm sure many kinless players will come as well. All should be welcomed equally and enthusiastically by us. This is really a great day for our server not just because we were saved, but because it will be reinvigorated by so many new people to group up with, to attend events, and perhaps even to join our kin. Please be on the lookout for the -1 folks, who have lost their homes and their names--they may need some TLC.
Whenever possible, keep your eyes open in World Chat for visitors or new arrivals, and feel free to talk to them and/or send them here to our website. We will not advertise our kin in World Chat or attempt any kind of mass recruiting. That has been our policy up to now and I'd like to maintain it. If someone asks for a kin recommendation, it's fine to send them here via a /tell. You can also recommend or bump the LOTRO Crickhollow thread once in a while.
Thank you ALL for your positive attitude and support throughout this worrisome waiting period. I very much wish to celebrate as a kinship! Our 5th Anniversary is coming up the weekend of Sep 11-14. Please post your party ideas on the kin website in the Celebrate! thread.
Our first big opportunity to show off Crickhollow at its best will be Shirefest, Aug 14-17. Please: even if you never attend kin events, come along and enjoy what we have put together for this year's festival!
Hugs and cheers!
