Dragonne is a level 40 captain. She's just a party-girl cook, and I was surprised to discover that she is high enough level to be helpful with the summoning. Legoan and Drummor helped me move her into kin; I bought her a summoning horn; and she has run up to Brockenborings.

What now?

Shirefest is this weekend.  Eeek!  We need to finalise our volunteer availability so we can be sure that all hours are covered.  Since we're close to the event now I hope it will be easier to give some specific time ranges.  We're looking to cover Bread & Jam on Friday night, Saturday 11am-10pm, Sunday 11am-7pm, and Monday 8pm-the end of Elevenses.  It is quite possible that we'll end earlier than the listed times on Saturday and Sunday, but I've extended each day by an hour in case we run long or have some scragglers who'd like to keep playing.  If you are unable to commit to specific times but will try your best to be there for at least some of the event, give a general sense of what you might be able to do.  We can handle this well with a small group, but there's rarely such a thing as too many volunteers.

Stewards are an all-purpose group who will help with announcements, band preparation, troll squashing, and vending.  You may have various duties during the day, but it will all be made as easy and as painless as possible.  We'll have a script with the different announcements relating to various issues that may come up, like trying to get everyone into the /event channel or telling them what to do in case of mass emotes or the say bug.  The officers will be taking care of most of the on-stage and band communications, but if you'd like to get more involved with that you are very welcome.  Everbrock will have more details for you about the uniforms and menu.

We also need a group of level 40+ captains.  You may choose whether you'd also like to be a steward, and if you happen to have a captain I encourage you to use that character as your steward.  We will need at least one captain at all times and a few of them at the start of each day.

The last area we need some help with--broadcasting!  Is anyone up for streaming some of the event on Twitch?  We'd like to put up a link/links for those who may be unable to attend.

Thank you for all of your help with this.  It's quite an undertaking, and we need to work together to make it a success.
