Thank you so, Luvvy!  I'm so glad you found it helpful.  I'd like to put one of these up every month and am looking for content suggestions.

I love this!  Thank you Rosalie for taking the time to put this together!  You're Awesome!

(There are hundreds of websites out there with writers, admins, aritsts, coders, mods, and editors who are actually getting paid to do articles/advertisements/forum-duty that couldn't even touch the care, creativity, work, and dedication that you put into this place and this kin, just sayin'...)

I made an addition to the main post with the following news:

The 10th Anniversary celebration runs from April 20th-May 9th.  There will be a special weekly series of quests that runs through July 13th.  Like Bingo Boffins, the quests don't need to be completed within the week they're released.  Unlike Bingo, the quest-giver goes away at the end of the event.  Thanks go to Pontin for keeping us all informed about this one!

New officers:

Congratulations to our newest officers: Bobdober will take over crafting, Butternut will assist with fellowship and raid runs, and Starr will take on questing and deeding.  Pontin has become the new kin successor.  Rosalie is filling in as temporary leader while Finarphin is away, but will return to her usual administrative role once he returns.

New members & recruits:

Over the last few weeks we welcomed Malhael, Halialyl, and Kallimdor as recruits.  Catfishpie, Isdandir, Mavar, Naurrandir, Savuraz, Tatertots, and Vegemite were all promoted to member in March.  Please welcome our newest recruits and congratulate everyone who became a full member of our beloved kinship!

Special events:

Pontin hosts The Great Race from Michel Delving to the Black Gate on April 23rd at 1pm EDT/server time.  Prizes include 3000 gold and a pile of LOTRO points, so you don't want to miss it.  Read the LOTRO forums thread for full rules and details.

Our friend Dagorfast hosts Muddy Foot Day at the Party Tree in Hobbiton on April 20th at 8pm.  Come for a fine selection of pipe-weed, beer, and food while enjoying bands like the Misty Mountain Hobbs (Shirefest and Winterfest veterans) and the Mithril Moon Band.

Visit the kin calendar for details on our many regular events throughout the week!

Check out the LOTRO Events Schedule to see the festival dates for the rest of the year. Visit LOTRO Players for a list of events all across the game, or check out the Crickhollow calendar for events on our server.

Shirefest 2017:

Shirefest IV will take place from June 16th-18th. Band sign ups are now open.  Find out more and let us know if you're interested in volunteering on our Shirefest thread.

On the forums:

Starr has been brainstorming ideas for new events.  More deed days are coming soon, but first there will be a European vacation on April 25 and road trips to our sister kins on Brandywine & Gladden on May 2.

Beliaveil has asked that those interested in roleplay add "RP" on their player note in the kin tab of the social options to facilitate spontaneous RP. Visit her thread for more details.

Warehouse update:

Everbrock has updated the crafting warehouse donations and gathering needs list.  Rosalie's cosmetic warehouse spreadsheet is also up to date.  Find out more about our kin warehouses at the bottom of the main page of our website.

Festival time:

The 10th Anniversary celebration runs from April 20th-May 9th.  There will be a special weekly series of quests that runs through July 13th.  Like Bingo Boffins, the quests don't need to be completed within the week they're released.  Unlike Bingo, the quest-giver goes away at the end of the event.  Thanks go to Pontin for keeping us all informed about this one!

Coming soon:

We will have several major event announcements coming out in the near future.  Please come back to our forums regularly to find out about what's going on at Second Breakfast!
