I played at Ales n' Tales since I used to be in the Breakfast Club. That was fun having that event on our server. I hope they plan to do it again.
I think we should start playing again at Elevenses. SB used to be fairly active at them and usually played music then in a sort of open mic night (solo or duets but I don't see it be any problem to have full bands as well).
Aww... they cropped off th' bottom o' th' image... sorry t' th' folks that was excluded...

Can someone please clarify for me exactly what are we playing tomorrow? Is the playlist the same as for the Weatherstock? I want to go trough the songs tomorrow morning to make sure I have them all and so I can find them quick enough, I don't want to start playing the wrong tune and ruin everything!

Once this whole Weatherstock Monstrosity is behind us (^^) we can start t' try t' organize some more Elevenses stuff.
May intrest some folks t' know that I had a conversation about 2 weeks ago with one o' th' people that I see reglarly on rp-ooc askin "who's comin t' Elevenses?" This perticular night he was rantin about folks not wantin t' RP an stuff. I listened fer a while, an then PMed him that I, fer one, had sort o' lost intrest in Elevenses after th' RP started gettin out o' hand; back in February (more or less) there was even a assassination carried out right there in th' Bird an Baby, forcin folks that had just come in t' chat an dance t' deal with th' horrors o' death, right there in their midst. An other, less disturbin things had been occurrin: councils o' war, an stuff like that. An I explained t' him that when Elevenses was first started, it was s'posed t' be more or less like th' TV show "Cheers". Just a friendly bunch o folks congregatin fer a relaxin evenin. An that I figgered I wasn't th' only one that had got put off by th' more sinister stuff that had crept in.
He said t' me, "I've just had an epiphany. This is all my fault. That assassination? That was me. An alt of mine, but still me. I'm the one that killed Elevenses." He also said he'd been behind th' war councils an other stuff too.
Since then, I ain't seen him postin in rp-ooc... mebbe we can re-grow th' community spirit that used t' hold sway at th' Bird. Certainly worth a try ;)

I'm game, even tough it plays havoc with my beauty sleep--5 AM alarm rolls around all too swiftly. However, I'll be off for several weeks of summer vacation soon and that will make it easier. Larksong would still like to plan something additional earlier in the evening maybe once a week, not necessarily at the Bird and Baby. Perhaps a traveling Bread 'n' Jam Session? Anyone out there interested ?

Here's a link to short slideshow from our concert in Bree and the festivity afterwards: https://voicethread.com/share/3175970/. If you care to, you can click on any of the pictures and zoom in or pan around. I couldn't do anything overly fancy as I couldn't budge from my position and I really, really didn't want to screw up any songs or spin around accidentally. We had a wonderful time and it was definitely a real confidence-booster for Weatherstock!

Re-thatching it. Some hobbit musician was running around on it a couple of weeks ago and put quite a few holes in it, possibly an outcome due to his pie consumption.

Well, I'm not sure I'll make it to Weatherstock either, only reason I could make it today is 'couse I'm still not working this weekend. But next Saturday I'll have to either leave after an hour or miss it all together. :/
I hope for the first option...
