Breakfast Club Blog
Hey everyone~
In the Better Late Than Never department, I'd like to invite you to visit a website I have been working on for the band. It began as a labor of love this summer, and my ultimate goal is to reconstruct and preserve as much history of Breakfast Club as I can. With Rosalie's help--she was in the band at its inception--I learned about the group as it was before most of us (current band members) arrived on the scene. I even tracked down old videos and pictures of the first Weatherstock performance, and began creating posts that were dated as they would have been at the time. It seemed like the most natural way to create a sort of "history" for us. I'm also using event posts from our music forum here and my own pictures and videos, of course.
After getting off to a great start, real life, a broken laptop (with ALL my screenshots and videos!), and some health issues intervened. I lost my momentum, especially with my laptop mailed off for repairs for a month. Every week I'd say, "I'll publish this for the band as soon as it's perfect." Well, duh. That's never going to happen! So I've decided to make constructive use of the power failure at Turbine tonight to add a couple of posts about the past week's events, including a video from yesterday's Bree concert with some great dancing by Kikilaa and the crowd, and to invite you to visit at last!
There are still lotsof gaps to be filled. I haven't even begun to tackle the section featuring the band members. (Would love to see a picture and biographical snippet for everyone.) And I'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions! Feel free to share screenshots, too! I hope you like it and welcome you to write up posts to be published too! Here's the link:

Can a link be placed with the other links on the top-left of the SB homepage?
