I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, each and everyone of you, for doing your part to make Second Breakfast what it is; a second family.
So many breakfasters came out and supported Winterfest this year!
I had a wonderful time all weekend and I hope you did too!
I was only able to attend for 2 1/2 bands but I certainly had a good time and all reports I got from attendees was that is was a fantastic event that they enjoyed immensely! Well done Luvey and Duid and everyone else who took part!
Thank you, Duidh and Luvey for all that you did to get this show on the road: the planning, organizing, supervising, stage managing, making of posters, confirming of dates...the thousand and one things that go into making an event a success. You all are fantastic! *cheers*
Luvey, I do thank you for giving me credit for helping you and Pontin with Crickollow Music, but in all conscience, I cannot take credit for another's hard work. That must be Miss Lark, former Chief of SB. She spells her name with one 's'. I have two. Although we are not the same person, we are constantly confused with one another, and we sometimes have fun with it. :)
Thank you also, Luvey, for the mention of the introduction. That was quite a first-time experience. After I had done it, knowing that I had blundered somewhat, I watched as Duidh made his introductions. Duidh, I need to take some lessons from you. You are so smooth, natural, and crowd attention-getting in your introductions. That is how I would like to be. I would also like to thank Ken and Cheggra for their advice and prompting. You both are pros at this. Unfortunately, when you all were making your introductions, I had nothing to compare it to, until I had done it myself. I could take lessons from youall as well. :)
Thank you for everything: the encouragement, the guidance, the.... I could go on. Best I stop here.
*many hugs to you all*

Real life limited my attendance to a few hours for the event but the turnout I saw was awesome. Great job to the key players and everyone who helped in any way no matter how small.
Thank you all! I enjoyed reading the replies here! Larkssong, I would be more than happy to offer what knowledge and impart whatever experience I have that might help you :)
Before I ever had an opportunity to organize or help organize a big event like Winterfest, I was a volunteer. I was an emcee before any of that! In much the same way, I had volunteered to play with someones band many times before I finally built up the courage to create my own band.
Baby steps can lead to great strides of confidence!
Luventhariel, your post was magnificent! I have enjoyed your story since the start. I remember when you first joined, though I was not here much longer before you. You have definitely grown and evolved into the Luventhariel that you portray now. You have taken Bread and Jam to new heights! I dare say that is has grown to become one of the most popular weekly events in all of LOTRO!
But more than that, you are the sucessor of Second Breakfast while still remaining as an events officer who works with me to put together our biggest events of the year! Pat yourself on the back for your accomplishments, for they are many. It is and shall ever be an honor to work alongside you and I look forward to Shirefest where I believe we will do an even better job!
